Having lived in the Lake District all my life, I know its landscape intimately, which I always strive to show in the images I produce. The approach I take to my work is to give a faithful representation of what I witnessed out in the landscape, whilst at the same time trying to capture the true character and essence of a given place, whatever the conditions I’m presented with. I’m continually inspired and in awe of my surroundings, I could spent many lifetimes trying to cover all of the hidden corners of the Lake District, though I’m fairly certain I wouldn’t succeed!
